Word Study For Today: The Book of Psalm Chapter 29
Devotion: GOD IS GOD ALL BY HIMSELF.
Text: Isaiah 46:3-10. | Psalm 104:1-35. | Isaiah 45:5-25.
GOD is God and there is no other besides him. He is God all by Himself; He needs no man to affirm Him. From the time the world began, He’s being God. > Genesis 1:1 (NLT)==> “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
There’s no argument in this matter, GOD our God is God; God all by Himself. >Revelation 1:8 (NLT)==>““I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”
He was in the beginning, even now He is, and He is yet God into the farthest future. He is the incontestable God. He is unquestionable. He is not the idea of anyone, rather all things created are His idea and handiwork. First and Last is He.
>Isaiah 44:6-7 (NLT)==>6)“This is what the Lord says—Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies: “I am the First and the Last; there is no other God. 7)Who is like me? Let him step forward and prove to you his power. Let him do as I have done since ancient times when I established a people and explained its future.”
Who is like Him? Who can be compared to Him? Who does what He does? God in a class of His own; He is God all by Himself.
>Isaiah 48:12-13(NLT)==>12)==> ““Listen to me, O family of Jacob, Israel my chosen one! I alone am God, the First and the Last. 13)It was my hand that laid the foundations of the earth, my right hand that spread out the heavens above. When I call out the stars, they all appear in order.””
When He speaks, all His creation responds. His hand laid the foundations of the earth and His right hand spread out the heavens like a spread cloth. What a God of wonder He is.
>Psalms 114:8 (NKJV)==>“Who turned the rock into a pool of water, The flint into a fountain of waters.”
>Psalms 104:7-8 (NLT)==> 7)“At your command, the water fled; at the sound of your thunder, it hurried away. 8)Mountains rose and valleys sank to the levels you decreed.”
No one can stand against Him nor resist Him. He is God all by Himself.
>2Chronicles 20:6(NLT)==>“He prayed, “O Lord, God of our ancestors, you alone are the God who is in heaven. You are ruler of all the kingdoms of the earth. You are powerful and mighty; no one can stand against you!”
He has done too many wonders. His ways are past finding out. He has no equal nor parallel counterpart. >Psalms 40:5(NLT)==> “O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.”
>Psalms 86:10(NLT)==>“For you are great and perform wonderful deeds. You alone are God.”
YOU ARE GOD ALL BY YOURSELF! To the expressions of Who this God is, there is no end.
>Psalms 114:7 (NLT)==> “Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob.”
Prayer Action:
**Sing Praises to the God like no other.
**Praise Him in the Holy Ghost for 15minutes.
**Acknowledge and give reverence to the God Who is in a unique class of His own.
**Go ahead and express your heart unto Him [report your cases to Him… no ill can withstand Him; present every case before Him and see them skip and flee like rams].
