Word Study for Today: The Book of Psalm Chapter 4
Devotion.
Text: John 14:15-18. | John 16:7-8, 13-15 | Joel 2:28-29. | John 20:22.

John 14:18 is God’s profound word to us on our journeys. He says “I will not leave you as one who has no guidance, I will come to you.” Our walk will not be lone this year and the rest of our lives for God has said ‘I will come to you’. Jesus said a Helper is coming Who will abide(tabernacle, sit and live in). We are not going the haul all by ourselves anymore.

The Holy Spirit is going to indwell us so much so we won’t be moving, striving, working and generally doing things in our own strength.

We can’t ever run this race in ourselves, especially in this end time dispensation. John 5:30a “I can of Myself do nothing…”. The Holy Spirit will be our guide, syncing us to the truth. The good news is, it is already the good pleasure of the Father, to pour out the fullness of His Spirit upon us(no restrictions on who the outpouring is purposed for -young, old, male, female, servants etc ); the Spirit is intended for us all.

John 20:22 says, “And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”

The Holy Spirit is available to you today, ‘Receive the Holy Spirit’.

Prayer Action:
With melody worship God.
Pray in the language of the Spirit(if you are baptized in the Holy Ghost and if not ask that your tongue be loosened this day for a flow)
Thank the Lord for not leaving you to yourself, but rather choosing to come to you.
Thank Him for the promise of an abiding and resident Helper in the person of the Holy Spirit.
Ask intently for a release, an outpouring of His Spirit(either for the first time in your life or a fresh infilling). Crave it and ask for it.
Pray that by the help of the Holy Spirit, Your life will cease from self-help and self-effort. No more moving, striving, working and generally doing things in your own strength. Engage the Holy Spirit to take it over.
Thank God for your envisaged outcomes in this new era of Holy Spirit Piloted flight.
Discus your issues with the indwelling Spirit of God.
