Word Study For Today: The Book Of Psalm Chapter 43.
Devotion: HIS LOVINGKINDNESS.
Text: Jeremiah 31:3. | Titus 3:4-8. | 1 John.4:7-12.
The Lord loves you and I to bits. He created us not as of necessity or as mere tool of accomplishing His goal, rather we are a produce of the heart of love of God.
>Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP)==>“The LORD appeared to me ( Israel) from ages past, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.”
God’s love for humanity is such an ever-lasting one. In the Message translation of the Bible, Jeremiah 31:3 says “GOD told them, “I’ve never quit loving you and never will. Expect love, love, and more love!”
You can be rest assured of God’s love. Expect love, more love and much more love. His love never wanes. It is His choice to love you.
>1 John 4:19b (AMP)==>“… He first loved us.”
God orchestrated love because He Himself is love. >1 John 4:16a(AMP)==>“We have come to know [by personal observation and experience], and have believed [with deep, consistent faith] the love which God has for us. God is love…
Being love, it is nature for Him to love us. Every love has its proof; confidently we know and can say, Jesus is the proof of God’s love for mankind. When God wanted to prove that He truly loves us with such love that is unending and undetermined by our works, He sent Jesus Christ in human form to this side of eternity. Or how else can you quantify the gift of our saviour Jesus Christ? Such a selfless love.
God loves us unconditionally, and to this end treats us kindly. Oh God is kind to you and I. His lovingkindness is better than anything you can imagine or cook up. >Psalm 63:3 (NIV)==>“Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.”
Nothing compares to His love. His love is exquisite and precious
>Psalms 36:7 (NKJV)==> “How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of Your wings.”
Even Jonah attested to the loving nature of God [because even when Nineveh had sinned, God’s mercy prevailed]
>Jonah 4:2 (NKJV)==> “So he prayed to the LORD, and said, “Ah, LORD, was not this what I said when I was still in my country? Therefore I fled previously to Tarshish; for I know that You are a gracious and merciful God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, One who relents from doing harm.”
God will command upon you His lovingkindness as He did over Nineveh, in the morning you will hear from Him. You will feel His tender loving care. Out of Love He will be kind and good to you; favouring you in that which you do not qualify for [because His love is never earned by your works and doings].
>Psalm 42:8 (AMP)==> “Yet the LORD will command His lovingkindness in the daytime, And in the night His song will be with me, A prayer to the God of my life.”
>Titus 3:4-6 AMP)==>4)“But when the goodness and kindness of God our Saviour and His love for mankind appeared [in human form as the Man, Jesus Christ], 5)He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit, 6)whom He poured out richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior,
The Psalmist longed hence prayed for this manner of love which the Lord has for humanity >Psalm 143:8 (AMP)==>“Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For I trust in You. Teach me the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You.”
>Psalms 40:11 (NKJV)==>“Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me, O LORD; Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.”
>Psalms 69:16 (NKJV)==>“Hear me, O LORD, for Your lovingkindness is good; Turn to me according to the multitude of Your tender mercies.”
Reach out to the Lord beloved, for His LOVINGKINDNESS! [It is love that’s not work based. Though this is not an encouragement to violate the precepts of God, yet it doesn’t thrust guilt at you. Oh such wonderful Love from our God!] Please no man for love, but look unto God whose love never fails.
