Word Study For Today: The Book of Genesis 13:1-18.

Devotion: Numbers 24:1-13. | Ezekiel 37:1-10. | Jeremiah 26:1-24.

God’s Word is spirit and it is life. Speaking God’s Word with authority implies that the speaker believes both in the efficacy of the Word spoken, as well as in the integrity and capacity of the One who spoke- God Almighty; Who is able both to say, and bring it to pass.

Our Lord Jesus Christ drives home further the importance of our words when He said in >Mark 11: 23 (KJV) ==>> “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith”. In other words, He said this to underscore the power and importance of saying God’s Words out of our mouths. People understand what it means to believe, they’ve been taught to believe; but speaking God’s words out of our mouth backed with faith, carries such potency, that makes the Owner of the Word (Almighty God), to respond in the affirmative!

God does not finance what He  never ordered from the store (Selah). Saying what God has not said (or doesn’t have in mind) is such a mere and empty word. Many people have spoken (including believers), yet nothing has changed for good. Their words have turned out to be blabbing; the reason being, they have spoken just out of  head knowledge, with no real conviction in the Word of God they’ve spoken. God does what He says; He is both able and capable, whether man believes it or not.

Jehovah God is a doing God; but He does what He purposes and not the presumptuous imagination and blabbing of men. The Bible says in >Matthew 12:36-37 (NLT)==>36)“And I tell you this, you must give an account on judgment day for every idle word you speak. 37)The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”▪️

Beloved, so critical are your words, hence the safest mode to be in, is to speak what God says (in His Word)>>> MAKE GOD’S WORD YOUR WORD; QUOTE HIM (verbatim). Balaam said in > Numbers 24:13 (KJV)==> >“If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the Lord, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the Lord saith, that will I speak?”▪️

This is the way to go, the mode that works all day, all the time >>>SPEAK HIS WORD!

The Lord in >Ezekiel 37:4(NLT)==>“Then he said to me, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the Lord!”▪️ The outcome is unbelievable, dry bones truly listened and they conformed in alignment to the spoken word of God in Ezekiel’s mouth. Bone came to bone, sinew found sinew, flesh covered it all up and voila- dry bones became living beings!. >“So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.”[Ezekiel 37:10KJV]▪️

Wow! How about you also doing just what Ezekiel did? >>> MAKE HIS WORD YOUR WORD!

The Bible says >“If someone believes they have a relationship with God but fails to guard his words, then his heart is drifting away and his religion is shallow and empty.”[James1:26 TPT]▪️

You can’t claim you have a relationship with God and your words will be found to be in contradiction to His. It simply implies you aren’t in alignment with Him and if that be the case, He is not bound to perform your own counsel. His Word has said. >“…My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:”[Isaiah 46:10b KJV]▪️

>>>MAKE A HABIT OF MAKING HIS WORD, YOUR WORD. Never play down on anything He says. You want results in your exploits in life? Then go ahead, make it habitual >>> QUOTE HIS WORD. >“Thus saith the Lord; Stand in the court of the Lord’s house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the Lord’s house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:” [Jeremiah 26:2 KJV]▪️

Micaiah said nothing but God’s Word will come out of his mouth. >“And Micaiah said, As the Lord liveth, even what my God saith, that will I speak.”[2 Chronicles 18:13KJV]▪️

>1 John 5:14-15 (TPT)==> says 14)“Since we have this confidence, we can also have great boldness before him, for if we ask anything agreeable to his will, he will hear us.15)And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we also know that we have obtained the requests we ask of him.”▪️

Be assured of your results in life, be confident that you have it as you say it. Cultivate the habit now >>> MAKE GOD’S WORD, YOUR WORD!
