Word Study For Today: Proverbs 3
Devotion: MAKING RIGHT DECISIONS.
Texts: Psalm 126:1-4. | Josh 6:18. | Josh 7:1,11,14-25.
Making the right decisions is critical because there are consequences. The consequences of our decisions is what has put some of us in captivity.
Whatever decisions you make, there are other people involved. The decisions that we make could affect our children and our family in general. The decisions you make today, can cause you to laugh forever or weep forever.
We need to get to the point where we stop abrogating power to ourselves, because we don’t own ourselves. Let every decision you make be ordered by God. Ask God, where am I supposed to be now, what must I be doing now?
Choose your friends carefully, don’t be the friend of a wicked person. If your friend keeps relating with your enemy, sever the relationship.
For your laughter or blessing to be sustained, you need to make good and informed decisions.
● THE SOLUTION IS TO SEEK GOD’S COUNSEL
•Confide in your CONFIDANT and not in your constituency.
•Job 9v14 •Isa 30v1-2 •Isa 29v15-16
PRAYER ACTION:
Praise aloud the Lord Who gives you the right counsel.
Pray in tongues for 15 mins.
Ask that the Lord helps your choice of friendship that you might not be influenced or misled by the wicked.
Jehovah, I pray that today, You will program my system, that Your counsel shall be my default.
Father, like never before, let me take decisions only on Your counsel. I shall not be an Achan in the camp.
