Word Study for Today: The Book of Psalm Chapter 15
Devotion. THE DAYS OF STRANGE WORKS.
Text: I Chronicles 14:8-17 | Joshua 10:8-15 | Isaiah 9:2-4; 10:26-27; 14:24-27.
It’s here again!. Announcing the days when His Strange Works are here again. In this dispensation, the realities shall be as recorded in >I Corinthians 2:9(MSG==> “…No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it— What God has arranged for those who love him”.
This manner of works doesn’t happen in all seasons, but this is one of the rare seasons of our time, when the Lord is set to do His strange works.
>Isaiah 65:17-18(MSG) ==>“Pay close attention now: I’m creating new heavens and a new earth. All the earlier troubles, chaos, and pain are things of the past, to be forgotten. Look ahead with joy. Anticipate what I’m creating: I’ll create Jerusalem as sheer joy, create my people as pure delight.
God is up to something really new because truly it is a different season now. It is a new dawn.
In I Chronicles 14, the Philistines assumed it was business as usual, they didn’t know that David’s enthronement as king of full Israel was a new dawn, [new season] for Israel. They attacked as usual but met their waterloo; it’s a new season!
I Chronicles 14:10 says “David prayed to God: “Is this the right time to attack the Philistines? Will You give me the victory?” God answered, “Attack; I’ll give you the victory.”
Beloved, God is giving you palpable victory in this dispensation. The yoke of oppression is being broken, the burden and stress of the past is being lifted. The Lord is throwing into confusion every oppressor and pain inflictor as He did for Joshua/Israel at Gibeon.
Like Joshua, strange happenings will happen on your account under God.
Joshua 10:12-13 (MSG)==> “The day GOD gave the Amorites up to Israel, Joshua spoke to GOD, with all Israel listening: “Stop, Sun, over Gibeon; Halt, Moon, over Aijalon Valley.” And Sun stopped, Moon stood stock still Until he defeated his enemies… There’s never been a day like that before or since— GOD took orders from a human voice! Truly, GOD fought for Israel.”
Beloved, you will manifest in dimensions never imagined aforehand; you will encounter fortuitous happenings. The Lord has purposed to do you good in this season of strange acts, His hands are stretched out and nothing can turn it back. Your Victory is a done deal.
Prayer Action:
**Enter His gates with songs of thanksgiving and victory.
**Pray in the most precious language of victory for 15 minutes.
**Thank God for this deliberate dispensation of strange works.
**Ask the Lord whose intents cannot be annulled, to go right ahead and do what only a God in His class can actuate.
**Pray earnestly for God’s strange works; strange acts [“manifestations like a lie”].
**Call forth your victory in this season.
