Word Study For Today: The Book Of Psalm Chapter 119:129-152.

Text: Genesis 21:12-21. | 2 Kings 6:8-17. | Isaiah 41:8-16.

Fear is an apprehension of possibility; it is a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, [whether the threat is real or imagined]. Most of the time the threat is an imaginary one. Now whether real or imaginary threat, God says not to be afraid. >“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”[Isaiah 41:10 KJV]

The basis for your fearlessness is not in the fact that you can handle what’s threatening or harassing, but your strength and courage is built and boosted from the fact that God, the enabler and doer of all things, is with you. Who can disable God? The One whom scripture records in >Job 37:5 (KJV)==>“God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.” Who can comprehend the awesome things He orchestrates? If any, then the person perhaps qualifies for your fear. When it comes to God, Job yet said >”Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.”[Job 37:23 KJV]. The God that is on your side, is excellent in power and He will never afflict you; therefore beloved FEAR NOT. Fear no foe, fear no treachery, fear no darkness, fear no failure, fear no height, fear no power, fear no wickedness, FEAR NOT.

Always the words of prophet Elisha should ring resoundingly in our ears>“And he answered, FEAR NOT: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.”[2 Kings 6:16 KJV].

Elisha spoke with much confidence to his servant, >”they that be with us are more than they that be with them so fear not.” God on your side is more than millions on the other side of the divide. God by Himself spoke to Abram and said >“…Fear not, Abram! I am your shield and the one who will reward you in great abundance.” [Genesis 15:1 NET].
God is your shield, your protector; abiding under His shadow guarantees your safety and security.

>“Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
[Deuteronomy 31:6 KJV]. God is with you every step of the way. Be strong in your heart, allow no fear, do not be shaken by situations or circumstances. Things may appear fearful but roar from within you riding on the knowledge of the fact that>“…greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”[1 John 4:4b KJV]. From now and always The greater One is in you!
