Word Study For Today: The Book Of Psalm Chapter 109.

Devotion: HOPE ALIVE
Job 14:7-9. | Micah 7-8. | Proverbs 24:16.

For as long as there’s life, there’s hope, with hope there’s possibility. God Almighty makes impossibility possible[but not to a “dead lion”]. Therefore,  keep your HOPE ALIVE. >Hebrews 10:35 (KJV)==> “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.” Don’t give up, do not cast off restraint. Job said to himself >Though He slay me, I will hope in Him…[Job 13:15a NASB].

Of course he knew that with his Hope alive, all things are possible.

The Father of faith, father Abraham, had such high level of hope to the point that against all odds he had hope[against hope], but the beauty is God came through for him. Sarah’s  seemingly dead womb and Abraham’s appearing dead body, received life again because their hope was alive. >Romans 4:18 (GNT)==> “Abraham believed and hoped, even when there was no reason for hoping, and so became “the father of many nations.” Just as the scripture says, “Your descendants will be as many as the stars.”

Hope does not disappoint nor make ashamed. The hope of a righteous man will not be cut short. >Proverbs 23:18 (NASB )==> “Surely there is a future, And your hope will not be cut off.”

>Romans 5:5a (NKJV)==>

“Now hope does not disappoint… >Romans 5:5a (KJV) ==> “And hope maketh not ashamed…

To that end beloved, here’s a challenge to you >>>“Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.”[Romans 12:12 ESV].

Be deliberate in  keeping your hope Alive and rejoice in that hope you have. Apostle Paul boldly said >“I have hope in God…”

[Acts 24:15 NKJV]

For your hope to be hope indeed, it  must be such as is directed towards God. Bible says in Psalms 20:7  (ESV)==>“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.”

>Psalms 71:5 (NASB)==>

“For You are my hope; O Lord GOD, You are my confidence from my youth.”

>Psalms 39:7 (NKJV)==>And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You.” > Psalms 71:14 (NASB)==>…as for me, I will hope continually, And will praise You yet more and more.”

Whatever may be the case,  keep your HOPE ALIVE!
