Word Study for Today: The Book Of Psalm Chapter 119:1-8.

Devotion: JUDGE NOT!

Texts: 1 Corinthians 4:1-5. | Matthew 7:1-5. | James 4:11-12.

>For the LORD is our Judge, The LORD is our Lawgiver…”[Isaiah 33:22 NKJV]▪️The Lord our God, the Eternal One, is the only One Who is all in all. He alone is the only One Who is the Lawmaker, the Lawgiver, and the Judge; no one else qualifies for, or belongs on that seat. He also is the One Who appoints official judges throughout the nations; and unto them He gave the code of conduct on how justice must be carried out. He didn’t allow them to judge indiscriminately hence the guiding rule.

>2 Chronicles 19:5-7 (NLT)==> 5)“He appointed judges throughout the nation in all the fortified towns, 6)and he said to them, “Always think carefully before pronouncing judgment. Remember that you do not judge to please people but to please the Lord. He will be with you when you render the verdict in each case. 7)Fear the Lord and judge with integrity, for the Lord our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.”◼️

Brethren, it is not in the place of any man to stand in judgement against any other man. It is God that appoints judges. No man is born to judge another. Little wonder it was said to Moses, >“…Who made thee a prince and a judge over us?…”Exodus 2:14bKJV▪️

It goes to show no one takes this honor or responsibility unto himself. God is the Judge of all. Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, a Son He loves so much, Whom He made an open announcement about; yet even Jesus said >“I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will.”[John 5:30 NLT]▪️

Jesus had no prerogative, [though being God’s only Son] to judge Himself. He was only permitted to judge as is expected of every God’s appointed judge. He said (paraphrased)==> “I am guided in judging, I judge only as am told to do. I carry out only the Will of the One Who appointed me. Judgement is not my direct call.”

Beloved no wonder unto every other person, scripture says >“Do not judge others, and you will not be judged…[Matthew 7:1 NLT]◼️

The scripture goes further to say >5)“So don’t make judgments about anyone ahead of time—before the Lord returns. For he will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due.” 7)“For what gives you the right to make such a judgment? What do you have that God hasn’t given you? And if everything you have is from God, why boast as though it were not a gift?”[1 Corinthians 4:7 NLT]◼️

>Romans 14:4a (KJV) says ==>Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth…”◼️

To this end child of God, take heed.  >“Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumbling block or an occasion to fall in his brother’s way.”[Romans 14:13KJV]◼️

Judge Not! Your judgement can even be the very stumbling block against your fellow human being. Does the Bible not even say, you also have a log in your eyes? Why then do you take it upon yourself [with your log beclouded and impaired vision], to remove the speck in your brother’s eye?

Take heed, for it is extremely expedient to obey God in this subject matter. No one knows more than Him, hence no argument can suffice. The Bible (Holy manual of life from God), clearly states > “Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. 12)There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. Who are you to judge another?”[James 4:11-12 NKJV]◼️ >>>This is the kind that king Solomon will discover and refer to as  “In conclusion”; same which intellects and the wise will infer as “end of discussion”. Selah!

Hear Jesus on the subject of JUDGEMENT: >“God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.”[John 3:17 NLT]◼️

>“You judge me by human standards, but I do not judge anyone.”[John 8:15 NLT]◼️

>“I will not judge those who hear me but don’t obey me, for I have come to save the world and not to judge it.”[John 12:47 NLT]◼️

If Jesus Christ the real Son of God Almighty would not abrogate power to Himself [as can be decoded from the preceding scriptures], who are you o man?

Wake up, Take heed, JUDGE NOT!
