EPISODE 1:
Hello friends… You are most welcome to a new topic on series of Being Deliberate with Mayokun Oreofe.
We shall be dwelling on the subject of FOCUS in this month of June.
Dictionary defines FOCUS as
-a central point of attention, or activity.
-the ability to concentrate (gathering your thought in one direction)
-power to harness one’s attention or efforts.

***To ExPlain FOCUS further:
1.    If you say you FOCUS on anything,  it means you concentrate on it and think about it, discuss it, or deal with it, rather than give your full attention to other things. i.e You PRIORITISE AND APPORTION the larger part of attention/properties to it.
2.    Focus is the skill that allows you to begin a task and keep your attention and effort on it till you accomplish the it.

Simply put, I would say Focus is deliberately channeling to a given task/goal all that it will demand from you to accomplish it.
FOCUS WILL MAKE YOU ACCOMPLISH!
Scriptures in the book of II Kings‬ ‭2:1-2, 4, 6‬ ‭NKJV‬
1.“And it came to pass, when the LORD was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. 2.Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the LORD has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “ As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU!” SO THEY WENT DOWN TO BETHEL.
4.Then Elijah said to him, “Elisha, stay here, please, for the LORD has sent me on to Jericho.” But he said, “ As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU!” SO THEY CAME TO JERICHO.
6.Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, please, for the LORD has sent me on to the Jordan.” But he said, “ As the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU!” So the two of them went on.”

Beloved, Elisha was a man of ABSOLUTE FOCUS. He was determined to follow His Mentor Elijah, and by all means even when Elijah was urging him to stay back at each point, HE WAS FOCUSED ON GOING ALL THE WAY WITH HIM, AND BY THE GRACE OF GOD AND POWER OF FOCUS, ELIJAH GOT THERE.

Prayer: I pray that as the Lord lives every divine goal you set out to accomplishing, the grace of the Lord shall come upon you now to FOCUS and accomplish same in the name of Jesus Christ.
